Process:

To be a staff member of YWAM Seville, it is a requirement to have completed a Discipleship Training School (DTS) in YWAM. If you haven’t yet completed this valuable training, come and do your DTS with us or serve and collaborate as a volunteer. The process of becoming part of the staff team at YWAM Sevilla is designed as a progressive, intentional and healthy path for both the individual and our community.

Step 1: Mission Builder

Come as a Mission builder for three-months, this allows you to get to know the community, adapt to the environment, and discern your calling. We can provide you with an invitation letter that you can take to the Spanish embassy in your country to obtain the necessary travel permit. During your stay with us, we will be able to assess whether it is the right time to extend a non-profit religious visa.

Step 2: Legal Process

Establish a formal stay. Apply for a religious visa in your country of residence or origin, or arrange your NIE (for individuals from the Schengen area) in Spain.

Step 3: Year Transition

One year where you become more deeply integrated into local life and the ministry’s mission.

Step 4: Renew

Renew commitment for at least two years

Note:

Note: Ending each step we will take time to share feedback where we explore the possibility of taking the next step.

This phased approach process facilitates sustainable integration, respects personal rhythms—especially in the case of families—and promotes conscious decisions, thus strengthening a solid foundation for long-term service within YWAM Seville.
